Who can book rooms online?
Students and teachers of the HfMDK can book rooms online (after prior registration). After the registration has been approved, you can book rooms online. We need a maximum of 48 hours for this activation.

Which rooms can I not book via the online tool?
The practice cells (for students) will continue to be allocated via the web document for the time being.
The rooms Großer Saal, Kleiner Saal and B 203 cannot be booked online, but must continue to be reserved via the room scheduling system. Requests for these rooms can still be submitted by mail or via the web form Unscheduled Room Booking.
How far in advance can or do I have to book my room?
Teachers can book rooms within the online tool up to four weeks into the future, students up to one week into the future. Rooms can also be booked on a daily basis up to one minute before the class/rehearsal/etc..
Reservations that absolutely require more advance notice (e.g. exams, workshops, etc.) can still be reserved through Room Scheduling.
Please always note the current opening hours of the university (Semester: Mon-Fri 7am-2pm; Sat & Sun 10am-8pm // Semester break: Mon-Fri 7am-8pm; Sat & Sun 10am-5pm).
What are the spatial categories and what do they mean?
Once you have registered, you can reserve rooms online. Together with the faculties it has been determined for which rooms you will receive authorization.
Room categories are:
- Free rooms: Can be booked by anyone
- Priority use rooms: Rooms are assigned to a specific degree program/subject and are released to everyone at 3 p.m. the day before.
- Subject-specific rooms: Rooms are assigned to a specific degree program/subject and can only be booked by the authorized persons
